So I finally got my Alesis DM5 Pro Kit with Surge symbols. I researched all over the internet to find the most bang for the buck. No one had Alesis drums in my area so I watched youtube videos. I even visited Guitar Center and played a set of Roland V Drums. It was a great set but not for $2600 bucks! I was told that the Alesis DM5 was comparable to Roland for less than half the price! My Alesis set has real drum heads that you don't see a whole lot on lower end drums. The surge symbols are great too. It has the feel of an acoustic set which is great because that's all I've played. I unboxed it tonight and around an hour to get them all set up. This is an awesome set of drums and well worth the money. Be careful, this set is in high demand and very hard to find. I had to find them on amazon because all the music stores were out and back ordered. I have included links to amazon to the side. I will give you guys more updates as I dial them in.
